How we rate forex brokers

Every broker on FXBroker is scored on the same six categories, with the same weights. Commercial relationships never change a score or a ranking.

Data sources

We use broker websites, legal documents, regulator registers, published spread data and hands-on platform testing. Spreads are typical values during liquid trading hours, not the advertised minimum. Because spreads, fees and products change, we re-check every broker at least quarterly. The current data was checked in October 2026.

Cost per lot

To compare commission-free and commission-based accounts fairly, we convert everything into US dollars per round-turn standard lot (100,000 units) of EUR/USD: spread in pips × $10, plus round-turn commission.
